This existing residence sits upon a hill in Balcones Hills with a breathtaking view to a nature preserve and city beyond. The front approach to the home lacks curb appeal and the parking area at the back of the house is difficult to maneuver for this British Cooper and Leyland collector. The clients came to us in hopes of reorganizing the interior and exterior spaces, updating the mid-century residence with a more contemporary kitchen and a public living that spills onto the cantilevered back deck overlooking the preserve.
A new garage and driveway will be inserted beneath the current deck to properly house the car collection. The design will provide a sequence of experiences from a quiet neighborhood to an open public deck out back. We are very excited about this project.
