Brentwood Addition

This 1952 residence, sited on a busy corner, presented an interesting challenge. The clients wanted to maintain privacy for their two small children, but also wanted a view of the three mature live oaks surrounding the home. Repositioning new windows, removing interior walls, and rearranging spaces, formed an open public space and master suite for the clients. The kitchen addition spills onto an exterior wrap-around cypress deck and draws the family to their backyard space and renovated guest quarters. Built-ins, study nooks and a multi-purpose room fit this family's preference for quality of space and rich materials over square footage. CCA acted as the Architect and General Contractor
