Two graphic designers wanted to transform their tight and inefficient kitchen into a welcoming gathering place for friends and family. Deconstructing an interior wall opened the kitchen to the living room and exterior views to the yards. Living screen walls placed on the side of the house provide shade from the western sun, as well as granting this corner lot some needed privacy. The architect and clients are collaborating on the patterns of the exterior cladding, designing an alternative to traditional siding. CCA acted as the Architect and General Contractor
